Nice 45m to 1 hour circuit walk. Lots of wildlife.
Excellent location for a walk and nice relaxing tracks.
Parts of the more lengthy track are also part of the Heysen Trail. The lookout in the NW corner is worth the extra 20 minutes.
Pleasant walk through scrub similar to that of the Mt. Lofty ranges.
A unique piece of natural bushland along a granite ridge in the eastern Barossa. The park starts in the Northwest at the end of the Krondorf Road, where the Heysen Trail (and others) takes walkers from one end to the other. The large map at the Trailhead ensures that getting lost is difficult. Rossiters Hut is half way along the Heysen Trail and provides a shelter and camping spot for hikers. Plenty of wildlife and birds frequent the park, and the granite colours show vividly during dawn and dusk. A second entrance is near the eastern side of the park along Tanunda Creek Road, with trails starting at the bottom of the hill and most heading to the top for views over both the east and west.
